“Greener Loudoun” is intended to help build community awareness of the environment and particularly, issues that directly or indirectly affect Loudoun County, Virginia. Typical topics will include news and views about healthy air, water, and nature; information on sustainable practices, eco-tips, conservation, pollution prevention, and human health.
I may suggest other websites and occasionally “green” products; however, this does not constitute any endorsement of the products – just trying to throw some new ideas out there for you to explore.

HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM THIS SITE:
For those of you still learning about “the web” (I definitely count myself), here are a few useful tips about how to get the most from this web blog (If you’re already web-savvy, you know all of this).
New articles (called posts) will appear at the top of the Home page each day. Older posts will move down and eventually drop off the bottom of the page (Where they go after that I am not too sure).
On the right side of the page under “RECENT POSTS” you can link directly to an article of interest.
Also on the sidebar there is an area called a “TAG CLOUD”. A big font in the tag cloud means there are more related articles than for a tag with a small font. Click on a “Tag” that seems like a subject you’re interested in and it will take you to all of the relevant posts.
“ARCHIVES” on the sidebar is where you can find my older posts.
“BLOGROLL” contains links to other blogs that I found interesting.
“LINKS” has links to relevant websites I like and hopefully you will too.
You can also comment on any post and your comment will appear under “RECENT COMMENTS”. Someday it would be fun to get some real dialog going so we can all learn from each other.
At the top of the page right under the picture of “Froggie”, is the navigation bar. You can go to other pages and explore topics like Air, Water, Land, Climate, Nature, Lifestyle, and Children in Nature. Over time I will add to those other pages.
Hope this helps.
I welcome your questions, comments and suggestions at greenerloudoun@gmail.com
