A rare, mother ship cloud formation hovers over Childress, Texas. Tornado-chasers there covered seven hours and 150 miles (241 kilometers) tracking the supercell thunderstorm that produced this cloud formation. Supercell thunderstorms are known to spawn tornadoes with winds exceeding 200 mph (322 kph).

Wow, that’s amazing! We’ve had a few tornadoes in the DFW area this year, but none of them were associated with such a clear mesocyclone! It’s beautiful!

WOW!! I have been in 2 tornadoes myself and they were the two most amazing, frightening experiences in my life!! But I cannot imagine getting stuck in front of this bad baby!!! holy crap… i think i need to change my pants!!!!

we have a lot of tornadoes in minnesota i was fishing in a boat once a a water spout almost killed me
that would be scary….. i thinki would cry hahaha jkjk… but still its so big…. i have never been ina tornadoe and i dont wanna.. lol

Wow, that thing looks MASIVE scary! I was in Nebraska on a trip once, and when My family and i were leaving, WE SAW A HUGE FUNNEL SO CLOSE TO TOUCHING DOWN!!!!! We saw it in real life and it was really scary, but we got out in time. Then it said on the news or somn there were a lot of tornadoes that day!
That was giant! I’ve had tornado experiences myself and they were scary! (but amazing!) I saw the tornados and i thought i was dead!

thats actually not all tornado most of its just clouds i learned it in school lol but its absolutely amazing
